Black Insanity as i hear it was the first gig outside of meden, for a debut to a wider public audience that was a pretty good show, the sound kept cutting out on the guitars and then the vocals but as a band played well together vocals were good aswell only song that i think in my opinion let them down was bell tolls.
Of All Things pretty tight, the songs were put together well and was cool to see a keyboard inputted into the mix. not particulary my style in music but all together pretty steady performance
The Vibes good set some ace covers thrown in got the crowd going pretty tight now improved everytime i see them. it confused me when i didnt see a singer then realised it was the drummer well someone pointed it out. was a good night for the first black wednesday i think...
well done to all the bands played well not exactly my style in music but impressed me and made it a enjoyable night chhers.

Yes I'm afraid there was some serious problems with the P.A and Neil & Shak did a great job patching things up on the night. It turned out to be 3 out of 4 blown Sub bass speakers!!! possibly a blown amp as well. oops, looks like the damage was done on Saturday during Hotrodsgig but hey thats rock n roll innit, we have purchased 4 brand new Bass drivers that will be fitted for Friday night so no sweat Great turn out for our first Black Wednesday, over 100 in, well done to the bands, i agree much with the other reviewers a sound debut from Black Insanity and plenty for them to build on. Of all things put on good show as usual and got the crowd going, just need to concentrate on the timing a bit boys, it will come. Vibes did the business, good blend of covers and original material, not sure about that new one tho I reckon a blend of covers and originals is the best plan for young bands as you will learn loads about your instruments from covers while you stretch your creativity with your own stuff. ;D
