Some of the guys who played at this gig have written there own reviews ( well done guys! ) but have placed them in the wrong thread, I can move topics but not individual posts, so here is what the guys said about the Rock Night at The Plough.
neva done one before......... well not a decent one however after the plough gig i simply thought it must be done, so here goes
when i first arrived at the Plough, the overall size of the venue made me think "hmmmmmmmm small" and that the night was just to incude bands playing to... well other band members whom turned up to play that night... although, as the evening progress more and more people turned up and the place was filled. It was a great amosphere and i was anxious to get the night rolling
First band up was [glow=red,2,300]Lost For Words[/glow], A punk rock band inspired by none other than Blink 182, now im not being biased to punk rock or to the band, however i though they werent on top for that night, thier performance needs to be tigher with stronger vocals and a more rehersed set. I felt the drum solo also, was dissapointing. Well done anyway.
Next up was [glow=red,2,300]Dementia[/glow], thanks once again dave for letting us play, always gud to rock alongside Warsop!
Quikcly following came [glow=red,2,300]Metal Injection[/glow]... First time i ever heard these guys and.. Wow! top performance, bashing out numbers such as Enter Sandman and Cemetry Gates and Walk, a very impressive set. Really enjoyed these guys, and they sure can rock out on stage also.
Next up Tonight was [glow=red,2,300]Metal Halo[/glow]........ I was lucky enough to catch these guys at Twon Mill in which they won their heat and tonight they went for top form... to topper form! BYOB got me headbanging, its true, awesome set from a very tight metal band.!!!
Coming towards the end of a excellent Night. [glow=red,2,300]The Vibes[/glow] werent ready to put the gig to bed yet! Playing up tempo, punk rock songs was a excellent performance by the guys, did i also hear their version of Dammit? Bravo! well done dudes
Finally, the band of the night steps forth to rock down the Plough, [glow=red,2,300]Sovereign[/glow]
go from immense to awesome and better, now i havent heard these guys since the carnival and i thought it was a entirely different band. Cowbuys from Hell did it for me. must say a shout out to the Lead guitarist, excellent soloing .
Well done to all the bands that night, and my work here, is done

[glow=red,2,300]Dementia[/glow]Put on a really great show!! as they are new to the scene not many people knew them so they must have been nervous, but it really didn't show with the synchronised headbangin!!
Looks so professional lads! great performance great soloing! great band! Great set list ;D Especially Like Light to the Flies!! You are the latest talk of the town lads well done! im not alone here when i say - can't wait to have you back! lol
